Good OTC non-marine wax?
Just finished up 2000 grit, followed by a Porter Cable applied Meguiars 105, then 205 on my lightly oxidized 96 Baja. It turned out great, looks brand new.
I want to get a coat of wax to protect my hard work before taking it out this weekend.
My problem is nobody locally sells any type of marine wax, so what can I buy at the local parts stores that will be ok and hold me over until I order something offline?
Thanks

Hula's Big Kahuna is great stuff, feels like a nice thick coat when your done and shines like crazy. To tell ya the truth most of the big manufacturers produce crap anymore (3M. Meguires, etc), go with the smaller independents.
I did my 89 Scarab last year with Fountain of Youths Vitreo and it still looks as good as the day i did it and its kept outside.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm well aware of those products by doing some research on the site.
But, like I said in my OP, I procrastinated and need something I can buy locally so I can get a single coat of wax to protect my hard work.
I don't have time before Friday to order something and still have time to put a coat on....
So are any of the OTC auto waxes I can buy at Advance, Autozone, O'reillys, etc. worth anything?

Collonite makes some nice products that should work for you and they do make a good marine wax.

Liquid Glass. Silicon based and I've used it for years with good results on my boats. Available at most of the stores you listed.

Having worked at 3M and Meguiar's for a combined 12 years I have seen my fair share of waxes.
If you are looking for an OTC wax be sure to buy a Polymer Sealant or Synthetic Wax. Look at Mother's Syn Wax. I think in a pinch you would like it.
Keep me in mind for any future boat care needs.
