Default Anchor damage in hull - Glassdave maybe?

Ok, my boneheaded move of the weekend was...... driving off with my big Danforth anchor still attached to the bow ring.

Anyway, heard two big bang noises before I realized and backed off the throttle. Luckily I only had the short rode attached, and it didn't get to my drive.

Took some good chunks out of the gel in about 4-5 spots. I don't think any of the spots are structurally damaged, but it is down to the glass.

I was just going to grind them out a bit, resin, and touch up (all stuff I have on hand), or should I go with a gel product that's already coloured?

Thx!

pending how deep they are you'll really want the final surface to be gel if ya can. Even if its not a perfect match your better off with gel. I usually do the bulk of the repair with vinylester (or poly is ya want) and West Systems 404. I just clean up the chip with a small ball bit on a die grinder and do the fill then let it cure. Sand it back and do the gel touch up. Sounds like small repairs so ya might get away with a cheapy gravity feed gun with the tip drilled out a bit. what color is it?

White. I just want to ensure it's sealed and a decent match if possible.

Anything wrong with the resin and touch up route (just to save me buying more stuff)?

Dave, what's more waterproof, FG resin, or Gelcoat? Just curious, thanks.
