im painting my boat this year and was wondering which paint is better.i also leave it in the water

I was told just about no paint for pleasure craft (Non steel boats) will hold up under water if left in long periods of time(more than 5 days).But I believe interlux make a epoxy bottom paint that is made for that purpose and can be buffed out.But I don't know if they make a bunch of colors and you could probable use it on the sides and transom not sure maybe you could look into that.Captaintyler used it on his 28 Baron restore on the classic boat section.Maybe he could answer that question.Just trying to help. go to the manufacturere before buying anything. Get their specifications and see if they allow/recommend the boat to sit in the water or X amount of days.
