Wet sand or buff?
I buffed my 87’ (pretty faded) Wellcraft and now have some spots that look great in some areas and some that are kind of dull. I have included pics, do you think it was just so faded that I should have wet sanded 1st. I used fountain of youth totally buff 1000, worked great on the colors but left the white with spots.

My personal experience has been with buffing using a 3 products in this order. 3M compound, 3M Finesse-it, Nu-Finish polish. Produces excellent results.
Buffing is hard work.
Dont you still have to buff out a wet sanded surface anyway? Ive never actually wet sanded a boat,

Must use the three step to get any kind of good results. 3m perfect-it works great. Use their pads also. Have to keep the pads wet. Only do a 2 foot by 2 foot section at a time and rinse your pad with water after each section. Its a pain and takes alot of patience. Dont rush it and you will be happy with the results.
