Dump Gun and epoxy paint
#11
yes but better, its all i would use to shoot overhead. You just need to play with it a bit to get it set up right otherwise they can get away from you and dump a LOT of material on. With that HF pressure pot i tend to keep my finger on the first stage and keep the air bleeding so the regulator in the pressure pot can stabilize easier
I plan to use a dryer to feed air to the pot, also have a ball vale to cut air on/off. Have a regulator on my tank which have it at 80 psi, was going to use the pot reg and adjust between 45 and 50 psi

yes I always keep the first stage flowing, probably not really necessary but force of (old) habit. Keeping initial pressure regulated down helps to.

Got the boat back and the folks at Lake Cumberland Marine did a nice job, everything is ready for me to wash with 202 then start painting. They found areas where the Gel was thin so all of it was removed.

Everything is masked off except the boat jacks. Will do those just prior to painting, and still need to laydown some plastic. Think I'll pull the Rinker out before spraying also

get everything outta there you don't want paint on. it's possible to keep overspray down but there will always be just enough to mess sh!t up.

Had an idea, do you think it will work and anything to consider?
Pickup some 4ml plastic that is 10 by 100 feet. Tape the plastic to the top edge of where the paper is now and let it hang down, this will make me a tent (paint booth sort of). Have full tyvek suit and full face shield respirator with chemical filters. Don't think there is anything in epoxy that is hazardous other then breathing paint droplets.
