my nemesis=====black dash
I think I've asked this every spring since I've been on here, anyone found anything good to use on the black dash to make it look better?????

whats happening to it? You could always sand it down and spray it with imron or the like....or a buddy of mine actually had some good luck so far with sanding down the gel and clearcoating it....been only 4 months so far...he has yet to expose it to harsh sunlight days....

wally... nothing is really happening to it, it just could use a refresher. I thought about painting it but it isnt that bad yet I was hoping there was something I could use to get me by for a couple seasons

When it was black, used to use some heavy rubbing compound followed by some good wax. Seemed to work for a while.

Here are a few pictures of the dash I painted in my last boat (311). I found it easier to paint the dash than it was to keep the black looking good.

it was very easy to apply, i honestly cant say enough about the stuff, i was shocked, found it at some little marina you wouldnt expect to have anything, guy said he saw it at a boat show and decided to try it, gave me a money back garantee, plus the bottles are huge, just make sure your dash is extremly clean before yuo apply it,
