Still love this boat, but it is time to move up as I have had it for 6 years now (second owner). I am looking at the 38 range.
415 Hrs
365 Mags/Bravo's
Imco Tie bar/nosecones
New Mirage + 25's and original Mirage 23's
Stainless Marine Exhaust manifolds and risers (plus the original Merc. anchors if anbody wants them)
Holley flame arrestors
Nordskog GPS Speedo
100% fresh water
Lift and Boathouse kept on owners premises
Palm Beach
No trailer
Not listed (yet).
Thanks

Nice shape?? Probably 32-34K without a trailer. Nice trailers can cost a bundle so someone may have to fork out another 10k for trailer. Cheapest trailer would be 5K. Just mentioning this because most buyers want trailers.

It's difficult to say without seeing the boat, but if everything is in excellent condition I'd say up to $35K. The lack of a trailer could be a problem for some potential buyers (like myself) and some from the US might be hesistant to buy a boat from Canada because they are unsure about the procedures/paperwork/taxes. I bought my last boat from New Hampshire....I like northern boats because the spend a great deal of time under cover with a short boating season. And freshwater boats seem to fetch a premium too. I've seen these boats listed for $40K++ but I just don't think they are moving at that price. But who knows...a boat is worth what people will pay for it. What do you think it's worth?

You would not want to tow a 292 or bigger boat without brakes and in most states you are required to have brakes anyway!
But it is a great teaser price!

Hey 292SR1, this is off topic, kinda, but, how did those Stainless Marine manifolds help the performance of your boat? Thanks to t500hps, I'm putting a set on my 1990 292SR1 with 454 mags as we speak! I running 24P Bravo props on my boat, though. I love the acceleration and increased cruising speed of the 4-blades.
BTW, I've had my 1990 292 listed in the classifieds here since around the beginning of May for $33900 for my 360 hour freshwater boat with 454 mags/bravo's AND tri-axle trailer. I've had a good bites but no one has brought any cash to the table yet. So, the way I feel now is, if no one wants a really nice 292 for under $30-35K, then I'll keep it and make some minor mods to it!

Thanks for the replies.
As this boat has been lift kept since new I would like to ask in the $40M range but will entertain serious offers as it seems that resale prices are soft. No sun damage, so the original Formula vinlyl is in very good shape. A few cosmetics on the hull (of couse from prior owner!). Usual Formula goodies.....shore power, fridge, wet bar, battery charger, pump out head.
As for the question on the Stainless Marine, I think it picked the boat up about 3 -4 MPH. Hard to tell exactly as I switched from pilot tube VDO to the real deal GPS speedo. Proof I think was that I had to go to new 25's to keep the R's down. Quick answer Is that I would recommend the S. Marine (especially in the salt water). Hard to believe the weight difference!
Formula 1: I will keep this boat also vs. a sacrifice. Too nice a ride, and I can always pop in a set of 500's.
