Well, looks like a lot of work is needed. All vinyl needs replacing, hull and deck needs full wet sand and buff, Dash needs help, bilge is in need of total strip and repaint, trannies probably need rebuilding, and of course, it needs motors and drives. Then there's all the electrical gremlins and other numerous odds and ends that just can't be planned for or budgeted. 12k seems a bit high to me. If you search around, you'll find 357s of that vintage in working condition for low 20s.

6-7k would make that a more doable project.

Just my two cents (you did ask for it)

Ya I would think that if some one offered you 5 grand you should send it up the road. Or part out the things that you have and then give away the hull.

Looks like a nice project! I like the colors! But, doing some quick calculations, I would expect to put at least $25k into it before I would begin to hope that it would run! $25k would be broken down as follows-$15k for low hour or rebuilt 502's, at least $7k for drives and gimbal assemblies and then $3k for misc wiring motor mounts etc... But then you still have the rest of the boat to deal with... Good luck!
