engine flush attachment

the 502 mpi equipped 353 i purchased has some kind of plastic cap on the flush hose. it has a small valve in the center of it for water flow. i need the part that ya put on the garden hose that plugs into the receiver part on the engine...wish i had pics, went to West Marine and didnt see anything and the guy i bought boat from is in FLA on vaca...grrrrrrr

I might have the same set up you have....My flush hose runs up to the top near the hatch and the garden hose attaches there.

It's a Merc part,available only from a Merc dealer. I may have one in stock,but I'm home till Monday Merc # is #861405. I can check Monday if you don't find one but Sat I will be watching the Alabama/Auburn game. Roll Tide

Talk about off topic.

Doctor gave Amy go ahead to go to the game so we're heading out at 9 in the morning. Said if she gets too excited and goes into labor, to just head to Druid City and let them take over. Keep your fingers crossed and hope the "thumb" stays where it belongs!

Hey Steve,Karen and I are going to watch The Game at Trish and Jacky's lake house up Rock Creek. They are big time Auburn fans but we are all friends As you know,no one can predict the outcome of the most important game of the year. And I don't fear the thumb What about Gerald's court case?

correct, there's a release button on the side, i need the part that attaches to the garden hose
