I buried the 82 bucks in my escape plan loan so I could afford one!!

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum but just had to stop by and say hello, My experiance with formula was great, I called them and told them I was looking into buying a 98 271 fastech and needed some information and they e-mailed me everything right away including a price that the boat was worth. I wouldn't buy any other boat but a formula!

I got my replacement hitch cover, but I'm a little suspicious as to whether or not it's made any differently. The lettering looks exactly the same, but there were 2 different papers included in the box with disclaimers on them:

Trailer Htich Disclaimer
"Dear Customer,

Please clean the enclosed Formula trailer hitch with only soap, water and a soft rag. Additionally, please do not buff and/or use any chemicals to clean this product.

Thank you!"

Just for the record, I never cleaned, buffed or wiped my hitch cover. It only went through the carwash a couple times to wash off the NY road salt.
I guess we'll see what happens.

Yea, I just saw the disclaimed on Formula's website. I also had mine on in winter conditions from road salt, hard to find a wash for a dually. I guess I will have to find something else for the winter, and save the Formula's for summer.
