the cottage deal has fizzled. First the family wants a quick sale, be rid of it, not pay the taxes next ect. So we go back and forth and are, in the end 20K apart, I'm not budging, and word has it they feel they'll get the price they want come spring.
Whatever... at that price it's only marginal and I'm tired of dealing with them. I really want to be on the other side, the leeward side of the point, out of the weather anyway. I will eventually be in the right place at the right time, and score one of those deals I'm famous for.
as far as the boat...As I told Mike, I'm not going to sell this boat just to sell it. I'm in it too good, it's too mint, and I like it too much to do that.
I also expressed that I didn't want to hold him up from doing something.
Now if the terms would come about to make replacing this $ensible, or if something else comes along that really excites me...
in reality the time for this to happen is getting short.
though I did get an email from Robert today.
