Port battery is a 31,starts port eng and is the house battery. SB batt is a 24,starts SB eng and gen. Works fine.

There are switches to swap sides or double up. If one side is dead you can use the other side.

we're talking about batteries here right?

I still need to understand how to add a 3rd batt. to a two battery set-up like my 353. I go some pretty remote places and play the stereo all day. I've considered adding a 3rd. Even just a 24 in the bilge somewhere. As you know in the 353 two 27's are housed in floorwells beneath the back seat.

anybody have a schematic handy for such a setup?

Haven't seen a Group 29 in years,I think the 31 replaced it and is the same physical size
