Default C-5000 battery charger

The battery charger in my 382 quit after the end of last season. Main power fuse was blown. I spoke to technical at Charles Marine who suggested it was not just a fuse but an internal problem. I tried another fuse without a load on the charger and sure enough, it blew immediately. I pulled the charger and sent it in to them to be rebuilt. They found some corrosion on the main circuit board from moisture, replaced the circuit panel for a pre-determined $225 and had it back to me in less than 10 days total. Not too bad considering a new one lists around $1000.
