Arrow 35' Fast tech Info needed

I have a local dealer who has a 2007 (I am wondering if it might just be a 2006??)

Brand new..

Red...cockpit cover..stereo...T-496 HO's 70 mph or so ..

Formula says the boat has an MSRP of $282,065 online. I nearly passed out.

The dealer wants a firm $180,000.

So fellow boaters. What should a boat like this go for and what would be a reasonable offer?

Thanks!

he's shooting you a real number.

that 36% off retail.
Is that number before rebate?

if it's before, the 12K cash offer makes your number (168) 40% off!

I used to thinkk 20% off msrp was good now I see 36-40%...did something change?

I just want to have a better understanding going in...

I am open to anythig any dealr can offer..

20% used to be the "benchmark" discount and the best a buyer could hope for. (Alot of boat manufacturers discount the boats to the dealer 40% but I hear that 30% is becoming common with some builders.) If you can get 36-40% off list then it is likely the dealer is selling the boat to you at his ACTUAL cost.

Is it a 353 Fastech or Fastech Sport? Regardless, it's a good deal.

exactly. MSRP if accurate is the number...must be one loaded sport.

and the math with 180K plugged in doesn't lie

strong discount.

yea, sluggish market and lots of extra coin structured into MSRP to facilitate trades and get deals bought. Not exclusive to Formula.

once you break the $125-$150k mark...35%-40% is average mark-up. i know that a $180k list Searay has of in excess of 40% in it...
