Sorry I did not respond sooner but here you go. I cut a piece of 1 inch angle about 20 inches long, notched the angle at the point for a washer and nut. The idea of the angle is to spread the load across the fiberglass on the inside of the gunell. These bolsters were never designed for our old birds but it has worked out well for me so far. They brought the cockpit to life in my eyes, all at a cost. If you have to spend $$ on bolsters you might as well get the best. Here are a couple of photos. I hope they help. Bruce

2 years ago my wife saw 89.5 on gps on a local poker run, that was at 5 to 5.5 lbs of boost. Last year i added brodix bb1 305 aluminum heads, sportsman rocker system, and a little more aggressive cam. That was the first time i had the engines dynoed, they came in at 595 on one and 615 on the other, the difference being as far as i was told was wear on the rotors. My builder told me after inspecting the blowers that one was tighter than the other, that before they were dynoed. On the dyno one pulled 3.75 lbs of boost the other was 4lbs right on. This year i have ordered smaller pulleys to create more boost and going to run a blend of 110 octane and 91.We will see what happens. Bruce

So you were seeing almost 90 with 600hp? That would make me very happy if I can expect those kinds of numbers. How stable is the boat at those speeds?

What kind of drives are you going to run. Mine gets loose at those speeds, but dont forget there is not much drive in the water to keep you pointed in the right direction. You dont want a stong cross wind otherwise you just have to slow down, or tab it a bit.

I have the Konrads in the shop now. For now I am going to run their sport lowers. That will put me almost 2" shorter then the TRS drives. If that is not enough then I am going to go to their speed master drives and get them another almost 2" up for a total of 4" shorter.

Stand still. I am working on the trailer now just to get it rolling again. I hope that I get enough money coming in from work that I can get my boat up to Maine to a guy that will fix it for me.
