The boat works great for me especially with the hardtop. it keeps me cool and the glass is easier to put up. I have had some issues with systems in the 400 (see my other post) but the design and function of the boat is great. having a cockpit with no steps is a great plus. (except for the little bugger from the swim platform to the main deck. I have tripped on that many times.) Everyone I have had on the boat says how they like it better than the 47 Fountain. The speed is OK I rather be goung faster but the sensation of speed is much slower. It feels like I am crawling and I am doing 45. This I think is because it is a wider boat than my old one. For you wife and people like me with MS I think it is a great middleground for performance and comfort

Thank you Ray I appreciate the information. I hope you get your problems solved with Formula as they have always done right by me. I wish you the best, Dennis

I trailer my 370SS everywhere. That was the reason I went with the 370 over the 400, because I wated to keep it in the garage and not on the water. It isn't too overwhelming and the boats are set up very similar.

Thank you, How do you like the 370? Here in Il we cannot trailer some thing that big with out a permit... Would be nice to have a trailor to bring it back & forth. Nice boat, Dennis

I have to run permits and oversized load signs, but it isn't that bad. Like $350/year for the permit and it isn't too overwhelimg to trailer. My brother has a 400ss railers and that one is a pain to deal with on the trailer. That is why I went 370, 1' less on the beam than the 400.
I have 496HOs and had the boat up to 55 MPH here on a local lake in Phoenix. Wakeboard boats cant pass me.

I have been kicking around trading my 40 PC for the SS or the 382 ? My wife has MS & taking long trips is hard on her. We were talking as we could get across the Lake quick with speed! Let me know if any one knows any one looking to move to the PC, It is a fresh water boat loaded with only 130 hours... Thank you! Dennis

Yes, I have seen your boat as I use to be in Hammond marina. You have a nice boat now, Are you going to keep the 370 SS & go to a 292? I have seen your boat for sale & I cannot understand why it has not sold yet... I want to go to SS or a fastect. The day I first put my 40 PC in the water a cuple of years ago they had the run from IN, to down town & then over to Michigan City... I was going to New Buffalo & seen them coming across from down town & there was a silver (37 or 40) SS running towards the back of the pack... Every since I knew I would have to either go back to a SS or the 382... Where do you keep your boat now?

Magic34, That is not bad at all... What do you pull it with. My brother had the 31 PC & he pulls his back & forth with his Saburban 2500 which does okay but that seams like a lot. I have the Excursion with the desiel so I could pull a lot but the 370 is a heavy boat & the 40 is even more, I would be nervus I guess? Dennis
