Default Thinking of trading my 40 PC for an SS or 382?

I have been kicking around trading my 40 PC for the SS or the 382 ? My wife has MS & taking long trips is hard on her. We were talking as we could get across the Lake quick with speed! Let me know if any one knows any one looking to move to the PC, It is a fresh water boat loaded with only 130 hours... Thank you! Dennis

I would think the PC would be much more comfortable for her. 382 is a tank in rough stuff, but it might be difficult for her to move around in. The SS might be a reasonable compromise for you.

Please send me all the specs on your 40PC, I have several options that may work for you.

I love the SS & would also consider trading for one, I was just thinking with the 382 I could keep it on a trailer? I could also take it different places. My kids want me to get a fast one again... Thank you for your reply! Dennis

Dave, It is a 2001 that was bought new 08/04 as a left over. It has every option Formula offered plus some, TnT, $10K stereo, You name it. 8.2 420 hp engines with 130 fresh water hours. Let me know your thoughts, Dennis

Dennis,
Looks like a great boat. The gasoline power is a little bit of a challenge in that boat for my coastal market, but we have sold a couple of them. Let me poke around a little bit and I'll get back with you. I have a 2005 382 with 600's with only 42 hours, a new 370SS, a brokered 2005 370SS, and I could get you a gas 400SS from Formula as well. In the meantime, if you have any questions, or if you narrow down your choices a little more please let me know. Talk to you soon,
Dave

Thank you Dave, I am kind of open as all of them sound nice to me. I have had about 6 different Formula's over the years & I have loved them all. You can email me spec's of them if you want? [email protected] Dennis

This is somthing, I have MS as well and I sold my 47 fountain last fall and bought a 400SS! I am launching it for the first time the comming friday. I went with the 400SS because the fountain had no room to lounge arround on. It was too hard on my legs at higher speeds. The 400SS has plenty of space. Plus I can still go fast enough to get to a destination reasonably.

Ray, That is something... It seams as to many days out my wife is in bed for a week when we get home... I thought maybe with a smaller cabin we would just do day trips as we could get around much faster. I love the SS & had the 280 SS in 1995 I think it was... You will have to let me know how you feel after a few weeks... Good luck with the 40 SS as that is a sweet boat! Best Regards & best of luck to you! Dennis
