Default water in the oil filter

Just did my pre season oil change. Starboard motor had water in the oil filter and just a touch in the pan. changed the oil and ran for an hour with no water getting into the oil. I'm sure it is the beginning of the end for my head gasket but my mechanic thinks it could have just been condensation. Anyone seen this before? I am just going to run it and keep an eye on it for now.
