just starting to look at 292's as an option, have not seen one in person. Just curious as to how you get to the bow from the cockpit? My Baja has molded steps then through the windshield, how do you access the top deck on a 292?

On the port side, next to the passenger seat, there is a step. Then you step on the glove box and proceed over the windshield port side. It isn't the greatest, but after a few times, it's a breeze.

Sorry people Ive been out of town for the past few weeks and havent been online.
Yes this boat was purchased from Bald Knob. It is in the classifieds.
I wasnt able to get good photos of it. All I can say is it is in great shape oil changed every 30 hrs.
I have been looking at 353's and was about to order one then I was shot down by the wife.
From What i was told the 353 with 600's is about a 95mph.

Has anyone went from a V-hull to a cat??????????????

Magicfloat (Robert Nelems) is a Formula dealer and has sold at least 1 353/600 boat. If you ask about them on Speedwake I'm sure he'll give you all the details. (I seem to remember seeing him post the boat would do 94.3)

Koz, I've gone from a V hull to a cat, and back again. Cats are great for overall speed, but lack some of the creature comforts of a V hull. I'm going from a 95mph Daytona to 70mph 292, but being able to run a little bigger water with the 292 will hopefully keep me happy. If not ,well I guess I could always build, no,no no, stock is hot stock is hot, I've got to keep convincing myself.
