Default Pulling the trigger on '09 292

I'm about to pull the trigger on an '09 292. We demo'ed the boat a couple weeks ago and loved... or at least I did.

Anything to look out for or doubel check on taking delivery? Anything at the top of everyone's list for modifying/changing? Probably a bit late to ask, but what is considered good deal as far as discount off MSRP?

Seems like sales of new boats has really slowed lately, but getting good deal and fair trade-in and Formula financing is hard to pass up.

Hope to meet some locals (Houston area) soon on the water.

I had a 292 and I couldn't have asked for a better all around boat.

The boat has 6.2's, VHF, upgraded stereo/amp/sub, captain's call and very nice triple axle alum trailer with disc brakes.

Both days on the lake were awesome. It's amazing the difference in performance and ride than our previous 27' express cruiser.

We did buy from Darryl Moore's (2nd boat in fact from them) and have had no problems. I guess everyone can have different experiences but I can say that ours has been good.

Looking forward to the rest of the summer... advantage of the south being able to boat for another month at least.

I had 280S K-Planes installed on mine and really like the improved rough water handling and slow plane cruise.

IMO 25-30% off MSRP is a good deal.

My brother runs with a large crowd on Lake Conroe. Will you be on that Lake?

Welcome and post some pics!

4mula, my in-laws live on Lake Conroe, and I have been down there a few times, and spent some time at Papa's. It seems to be the place to go on that lake. What kind of boat does he have? I've noticed a large Baja contingent down there.

I will try to have pics posted later tonight.

Yes, Lake Conroe is our lake of choice. It does seem to have much larger population of Baja's.

Papa's is always a good choice for hanging out. I hear the new Sam's boat is pretty nice too.
