Hi,tcm, the deal I offered you is hereby cancelled, sorry things didn't work out.Life is too short for hassles.Like I said,we can just be friends and not do business. I consider you a friend, and have enjoyed our conversations.Hope you have found a 353 at your price. Take care,Robert

With all the boats out there and Magicfloat not being able to help you I have to believe that "serious buyer" line is just a line of crap!!!! I hope the next thread you start is one of you standing beside your new ride.

Don't get me wrong, tcm seems to be a very nice guy and sincere about buying. He wants to buy a 140K boat for 115K,and I have no problem with him trying, heck, we all want to buy as cheap as we can, that's just human nature. Only issue I have is after a week of negotiating,I thought we had a deal,he was to send his buddy from Miami Thurs to check out the boat and then he would wire transfer the agreed on price. We busted our a** s to detail the boat so his buddy could check it out,but I never heard another word. Gut feeling is he found some poor starving 353 owner ready to dump at some price, and if so,I don't blame him if he stole one.But I honored my end of the deal on the phone, and he bailed without calling. No big problem,I still kind of like the guy,we had fun negotiating, but we probrably will never do any business .But if I ran into him in a bar,I would buy him a beer or 2,and ask him how he liked the boat he bought from someone else. As I said, life is too short to worry about this stuff.
