Whats the best year.. If you have one how long is it with the trailer. Need to measure if it will fit. I am going to get ride of our 223ls and upgrade to a 311. Is there a way better ride on choppy days with the 311.. 223 get s threw alot but man its rough

There is no comparison between the ride of a 311 vs a 223 - so much better! 311 is almost 34' LOA, and ride is very solid. Mine was around 40' or so on the trailer with the drives. All the years were decent, later years around 1990 or so had some interior changes that some prefer, looks a little more modern. Some have TRS drives - some have Bravo's. TRS boat handled a bit better because the 311 was designed for TRS drives was the opinion, not that the Bravo boats were bad.

cuddy is good sized. Never used ours much, probably 4 on the couches, also has v-berth for 2 for sleeping.

You need to see some pics - look in classifieds or better yet go get on one!

We had 11 in my cuddy at one point during a dock party last summer. Alcohol was a factor.

Jassman's used worn out center console with old spilled drinks in it.

Key question is how many when you are on the hook partying versus running in the rough. Those two numbers are drastically different!

The 311 is considered a "yacht" so I believe it is up to the captain to determine what is a maximum safe load for conditions. The certification plaque next to the helm doesn't list a number of passengers or combined weight.
