My Hp 500's can be run on the engine cradle they are kept on, just need a 5 gal can of gas and battery. These are not rust buckets either. The price is right to eliminate haggling. These are kept as my spares for my boat, so they are ready to run

Blocks are 1996 when the boat was new, I think that makes them Gen IV ??

Well, if these enigines are 1996, they don't seem gen IV to me, I assume gen V.
Please email me some more info.
As far as shipment goes, it should be possible to arrange a pick-up shipment, alternatively I could contact a business partner in Ford Meyrs to arrange.

Well, that is also very attractive, great boat.
That kind of power in any type of boat is extremely rare over here. One German guy is boating with a Nortec equipped with turbines but I guess he is the only one in europe so far.
It is a pitty it is such a hassle to ship a boat , costs, VAT, import duty and whatvever they can find to charge you.
In this case I would sell my boat without power.
I will also investigate what is involved when shipping a boat to the Netherlands.

Evidently, you have too much money!!!

35 is not a bad price for your boat, you should be able to get that. If I were really looking, I'd be on a plane to Fla. right now!! Fact is though, my next boat will be a cruiser. Just can't stand the thought of wallowing around in a big, bulbus tub but I want more room and hang space.

The motor mounts all lined right up, didn't even need a single adjustment.

If I would go for the HP500's from James, what implication would that have on the prop's?
I am running the standard prop's which came with the boat, Mirage Plus, 3 blades. My engines were running 5000-5100rpm WOT. I assume something needs to change with the HP500's.
Does anyone have some experience with this combination of boat and power?

I just put HP500 EFI's in my 89 311 and I am banging the rev limiter with 26P Bravo 1 four blades with a full tank and three people. I have a set of 28's I'm gonna try next and see what happens, any luck I may be able to spin 30's, but 28 four blades are probably going to be about right.
