382 FasTech speeds...
What speeds are seen out of 500EFI vs 525EFI...?
Is it worth paying the extra $ for the refit of 525's over 500's?
Has 496's in it now and we saw 71.5mph near empty tank on a cool day in LOTO a year ago.
Would like to see a solid 75mph.
Or just go with the new CMI one piece E tops and a ECM tune?

If you were going to do anything I'd seriously consider the Raylar 525 conversion. Otherwise I say leave it alone and run the chit out of it until you kill those 496's and re-power.

My 04 382 with 525,s runs 75 on GPS consistently. BBlades just did a set of 28 Bravo's for me. Ran them this past weekend for the first time.On the way to a Poker Run,loaded with fuel,2 people,gear cooler,and a half tank of water 78.2. I was amazed!! Mind you I have macerator,a/c,an genset. Ran 75 -76 a bunch of times during the run with 7 adults. Hope this helps. Jeff/ SECRET FORMULA
