Default Throw'n a name on the back?

Ok this is gonna sound pretty dumb..... What are you guys doin for putting graphics on the back of the formulas? I have not seen too many upclose shots, but on my formula and the one in this pic (stolen pic) the back isnt smooth.

Any suggestions or whate you have run into?

I had that issue with my '93 271. I just used letters with no graphics and it looked ok. You'll need to be extra careful applying the letters as it's tough to get the air bubbles smoothed out with the steps in the transom.

I've done a couple of them- you just need patience.

I am getting ready to redo mine. I will send pics when the 2' of snow melts. I had just done letters on my other Formula and had a logo guy do it. I will not even try to do my own, it will have bubbles and folds in it.

Find a good artist and get a hand painted original. I paid around $400-500 for mine, and it turned out great. He was able to match the colors on my boat. My transom is smooth but I would think an artist would be able to handle the steps.
