Default New to formula 382 fastech questions

how are these boats? looking at a few online yet to see them in person. How is the ride, speed, things to look out for? They have the 500efi mercruisers in them. They look pretty nice for the money, i have also been looking at the 33zx and 38zx donzi's. Just trying to get input on the formula's also thanks

You are looking at a couple very different types of boats! Comfort in the Formula is going to be much better then the Donzi, speed in the Donzi assuming all else the same is going to be higher. The Formula is IMO a better laid out boat and easier around the docks.

The 382 is a lot more "usable" boat from the standpoint of cockpit space, sunpad, etc. If you spend a lot of time hanging out onboard during the day (raftups, etc.), you'll be much happier. More of a Lexus than a hotrod.

Not the fastest but a good solid boat. We had one for 4 years and loved it. One of the largest cockpits you'll find and easiest boat to hang out on.

You will not be dissapointed with the 382. I love my Formula.
I don't think there is a better family boat out there.

I would call it more like an Escalade Solid well built luxury Maybe not the fastest but we still see 80-82 and you spend most of the time 45-50

You might also want to throw the 353 FasTech into the mix of boats that you are considering. It's probably more similar all-around to the Donzi ZX than the 382... IMO
