I'm a little biased, but that is a great starter boat. Price may be a little high. Bought my 97 FAStech for 26500 last July, w 502 , 500hp, 200hrs.

Nice looking boat, fresh water, clean, nice trailer. Have a survey done and start with low twentys, this could be a very nice boat.

Good luck

go to NADA and put engine and options in, I just did that on this boat and it came out avg retail around 23900. I would start about 21500. IMO. Oh and don't forget to check out the headliner.

There was a late 90's 271 fastech in New York City on craigslist this winter with a brand new 496 magnum 425 hp for $12500. The guy needed money for his daughter's medical bills is what he told me. It may be still for sale. It was a few weeks ago. Search CL, you might find it. I don't think it had a trailer but at that price go buy one if it is still there.

that was a pile with bottom paint, that 271's a good deal, under powered with the 454 though, no bolsters mines a 93 and I would take 26 for it so thats a good deal if you don't mind those cpl things

Nice boat, but under powered for sure

Mine has the 502mpi in it and I am in mid upgrade status now to the 598ci. Boat would run low 60's with 415hp b1 1:5 ratio right at 4800 4900rpms.

You can add bolsters and upgrade power later, I would buy it at $20k-$21k if it checks out and you are happy with 27'. JMO
