Default 311 exhaust

Looking to replace my stock exhaust. Who knows what/which brands fit a 311, 454 mags, and allow the stock hatch actuator to remain? Also, need to assure they'll mate up to my stock tips at the transom.

Dave,

FWIW, I put the EMI Thunder on the 292, no problems with the hatch actuator or getting them tied into the stock ports at the transom.

Tim, any real "seat of the pants" increase in performance?

For the 292 and 502's, I noticed the difference in both getting on plane as well as going from say 3200 up to 4000 or 4200, or pushing them all the way to 5200.

Thinking of putting new exhaust on the 311 for the season?

Yeah, change of plan - the cruiser idea is out for now. Deal didn't go on the one I was interested in. Don't want to spend 85k plus on a different one. Just going to run our 311 for at least another season. Not like a I don't like the 311, if I can't "steal" a cruiser, I'll stick with the old bird.

Gonna do a few things to the 311 to keep my interest up.

Yup revolutions seem to be a good deal. The one that came on my 311 are Kodiaks. Rex marine still sells them and they are a decent deal. The risers are Imco. Right now they are out getting polished. Here is a pic when i took them off last fall

Don't forget, I would make you a great deal on my 34....discount just for a fellow Formula guy.

I'd even get it up to the lake for ya, good excuse to come as well.

Well I tried, we can wait a while, it's still early and with some time she may change her thinking. I'll just keep track of it and where things are going.

Meanwhile, if you're looking to perk the old bird up some you could contact Pimp Daddy Racing, and get you some of them Whipple Chargers.
