I run roughly ~3400 @ 45 mph and 18-22 GPH. the boat is real happy between 3400 and 4200 in a cruise setting, much under that I have to run a little tab to keep the porpoise at bay. Rather just go faster, than scrub speed

Anyone run a set of shorties on this hull? The blackhawks run great on this hull curious what a set of shorties does.

Wouldn't be afraid of them...beef up the gears and you would be fine props might be a little tougher though...the colors on that boat have got to be some of the worst but everything else about it nice. Pretty sure you get the right shorty setup behind a set of beefed up 454/s502s and you might be in business....lot of rocker in the hull

Just trying to keep 88 away from the 303's so when I am ready I can pull the trigger jk. Does look like a good setup if it checks out. Weird to say but think the 353's and 312's don't carry the windshield flow into the deck as well as the 382's, 292, 271 etc. Still GREAT looking boats but the older Late 80's and 90's boats had the look down on every model. Picky detail I know, I know...
