In the 233 ad I heard that they went to the old 7 mile bridge in the Keys. Talk about a production!! They had to get the Jag and the Formula set up perfectly with the helicopter positioned directly overhead.
From the looks of it I'm guessing they are doing 45~50.
Remember...no digital photography or Photoshop in the '60's !!

I am on the look for old boat test articles on Formulas...we could start a library here on OSO,,,wouldn't that be cool?
We understand that Formulas are very popular in Germany...true? I know of a few used parts brokers that send a lot of Formula Boats and parts to Germany and Sweden.

Maybe I can find a few old German ads in my collection.
I have a few old test reports in German from the special series of SR 1 Diesel models , that were built for Germany with larger engine rooms to fit the KAD 42 in line six cylinder diesels
I can also check my old powerboat magazines for test reports
