Default Fastech 312 instrument panel upgrade

Hey guys-
Pretty new to the forum here but wanted some advice on an instrument panel upgrade on a 1997 fastech 312. I have the older black/grey instrument panel that has faded to a matte grey over the years and wanted to explore the option of upgrading my instrument panel to the more updated white with accented guages fasteck panel. Has anybody ever tried this? Also, I have the black dash that has become more of a matte grey as well and if I was upgrading the panel I would consider re-painting the dash white to match. Anyone painted the dash a different color before and did it turn out as expected? I saw a pic online of an older formula fasteck with an updated white instrument panel that looked pretty amazing and was hoping to try to emulate it if I could. Can anyone give any advice on where to begin/start or how to go about an instrument panel re-do/upgrade?
Thanks for all the advice.

I had one that I updated.....at the time I got all the stuff from Formula via the dealer. I wouldn't do that now though. No dealers now!

I can no longer post pics but I had new panels made on my 382 and posted pics of it a number of times (think I have a thread on that build too....around 2008-2009). Innotech has done a number of members carbon fiber panels and everyone has reported happy results. I too have seen some 97's with painted dashes but nothing up close where I can give advice.
