sorry I forgot to mention that I replaced them with kenwood excelons last year. They did not come with marine grills. I might use billits and add a screen

I used those billet speakers covers to redo my grills a few years ago. The bracket that attaches the grill is a thin metal rim that fits under the edge of the speaker with a few tabs that bend out at 90 degrees and are threaded. The grill fits over that with a few set screw holes to thread into the tabs.

But the bracket is mild steel, not powder coated just spray painted black. I had rust streaks running out from under the speakers in a week.

I took the mounts off, bought a sheet of 1/8 inch aluminum and traced and cut out the brackets from the aluminum sheet, bent the tabs up and tapped threads into them. It worked great.

But after I mounted them I did not like seeing the speaker behind them. So I went to home depot bought nylon black screen door material. Cut out the shape and used spots of 5200 on the back side of the grills to hold the screen in.

It has worked great for 3 years

Hatch Search
You know the saying batten down the hatches !
Oh well I did not , and cracked the front 90 degree entrance hatch with the lock downs in it.

I called the dealer locally and they did not have one.
Does anyone on here by any chance have one available?
Thanks in advance for the reply.
