3 hrs out early June and blew a drive as I was docking, go figure. They were orginal bravos and made it 12 yrs so I consider myslef fortunate as I have so many other had replaced theirs long ago.
Anyhow:
2 new X drives
New Impellers and housings (normal maintenance)
New cockpit carpet
New sterring wheel
Just another year of boating makes fuel seem cheap in relation to the cost of upgrades and repairs.

Hey Jeremy
I went with the World Products Merlin III's in aluminum from Teague. They set them up real nice. Should be a nice compliment to my stage I roller cam kits also from Teague. Picking up starboard engine tomorrow morning, already have the cam kits and heads on port motor. I need to get busy and get this thing back together!

Good for me so far this year, a $190.00 speedo receiver and reg maintenance.
Last year, broke a drive.
Year before that, broke a DRIVE!
And three years ago did valve springs in both motor. (8 broken ones)
I shouldn't have said anything, I'll jinx it now!

This year, a seawater impeller replacement set me back $230. Last year, the expense was astronomical due to buying the boat and outfitting it. Hopefully, the impeller replacement is it for this year.

Port engine was overheating, replaced the impeller and thermostat, no luck. Back flushed the water lines, got a bunch of zebra mussells out but still overheating. Took off the drive and found if full of the little devils. While it was apart replaced all the hoses, runs fine now but $$$.
