1999 Formula 353
I'm new to the forum and this may be an old question, I am looking at a 1999 Formula 353 with 300 hours. It has 500's that just had the valve springs done. The boat is very clean and its local to me, always been in fresh water and its the original owner.
My question is, he is asking $75k through a broker, I know he accepted $67k and the deal fell through. So at $67k, is that a good price given the age of the boat? I have looked on NADA but not sure if that is a good judge of performance boats. I have looked at one other 353 and a lot of 312s and this is a very clean 11 year old boat and is better than most 05s. Comes with full covers and a spare set of props and an eagle trailer.
Ready to do it (and get it surveyed) but thought I'd toss it out. Its 11 years old, non fuel injected, but in higher than average shape.
Help talk me into it!

you can get newer 353 for that price. 500 carbed = Gill exhaust = (water reversion issues)
ever in salt water? you should be able to get into that boat in the upper 50's to LOW 60's depending again on condition, saltwater, etc.
