252 ls with 454 mag

i have a 252 ls with 454 mag it is a little slow 53-54 mph at 4800 rpms ,is this how fast the boat is ? the engine runs great.

That's probably about right with that power.

What drive/prop(s)? Need to be turning 5K at WOT.
