So thank you to everyone that commented the issue ended up being a cracked spark plug!!!! I couldn't believe it.

Carb is a good place to look..put a vacume gauge on it and check the vacume..should idle around 16 to 18 inches at idle and drop to zero at wot...also what type of oil did you put back in? Because if that is a small oil port motor to heavy of and oil will cause a significant loss of power. The old motors you could put a heavy oil in . The newer engines should be straight 30 wt. Oil and that's all .also check those wires like someone else mentioned.
