Don't worry... Panic Attack has a natural fear of shallow water. I'm starting to think it's eremikophobia, which is the fear of sand, because he panics whenever he can see the bottom. If he made it out before 2pm he could pick the location to set anchor for the day. He acts like he actually has to motor into the shallows. He shuts her down about 100 yards out and gets escorted in by me. I couldn't even tell you what the guys anchor looks like or if he even has one on board. Probably one of those mushroom ones. I will have to give Panic some credit, he has impressed me this season so far. He's been out around 12 twice so far, thats a new record.

Payback for his comments about me last year and the rendezvous saying I would be launching from the state police ramp right next to the marina

I think this is where we turn everyone else off to the thread!!!! However, I am proud to see you broke out the online google version of the DSM. I wonder if the definition came with a quote of the day??? I do thank you for noticing my earlier arrival times. On a more serious note, Split D has been lookin for mechanical advice, it appears as though his 292 is unable to steer north out of the forked river and he is then forced to drive directly east to tices (albiet earlier and more shallow than most others) until the wind blows him to face west and allows a quite ride to port. I mean, the last time i saw someone this nervous to go north, i was in south korea!!! All in all this has been fun and will continue this weekend at tices, come one come all!!!! as for AC, MTP will be high and dry at home...we came closer to thinking about taking her down this year and decided the AC expressway has our name written all over it. we will be dockside before and after wifey's birthday dinner.... Now the real question is will IDCE be around this weekend or is she not clean enough yet????

Did a last minute new gauge/dash panel/switches project that is taking a little longer than expected due to configurations and redic heat. Should have gauges done tonight and maybe a power wash and launch tomorrow for a little shakedown cruise. Should finish the fine detailing this week.

When is the wife's bday? My wife's is on the 28th so its a bday weekend celebration also.

Last weekend I finally got some time on my new to me boat, took it to the LBI bridge and up to the mantoloking bridge so getting more comfortable with it. Think I'll be at Tices Friday afternoon....

So if I decided to go to AC might take the inner since I never went out into the ocean. What areas are narrow? and how many parts are no wake. I would be coming down from the Tom's River area?
