Lil' Red was down from Boston so we put him at the helm and did he run the snot out of that boat!!! We went all the way to the Miami Harbor entrance about 2 miles out for a run of about 15 miles. We were able to run 40-45 very safely but it was rough to say the least. We were airborne several times. I was standing behind the helm bolster hanging on to the Bolster Handle with all my strength...needless to say I am still sore today.

What you have is an extremely sea worthy and capable boat that realistically will withstand more abuse than your body will.

Enjoy and wear your kill lanyards if you do any heavy offshore running....LOL.

Thanks for the kind words. She is actually in as clean of condition as she looks in person. The previous owner took really good care of her.

We had a light chop here locally. I spent the day getting used to maneuvering her around at slow to medium speeds with the occasional burst of throttle. I had my wife and son with me and neither are very familiar with boating on the whole. I'm taking it easy until I am familiar with how it handles and until my crew becomes familiar with what is required of them both underway and when coming to a dock.

I washed the boat with Diego when we got back and gave it a once over. A few amenities were knocked loose in the cabin but the structure of the boat was well in tact. NOAA report said seas 6-8' with occasional 10's 4 second spread. It was nasty.

And before any nay sayers come on and say no way, 3-4's tops, I'm 5'10", standing at the helm if we dropped into a whole between the waves I couldn't see over them. Really wished I was in a 47 apache lol but the formula did hang pretty tough at 40-45mph

Just for the record, Pablo's is a 1991 357 sr1 with bravos and around 550hp a side , and yes it was nasty last Saturday , but we had not only a great solid boat but also a great pilot at the helm his name : lil red
