Default Silent Thunder to Captain's Call

My 98' 353 has factory installed Silent Thunder. My 502 MPI motors are both coming out, and before they are reinstalled I thought this would be the time to explore adding a switchable / Captain's Call type system. In past boats, I've used Corsa's switchable diverting product and was pleased with it.

To those who have done this before: Thoughts? Suggestions? Any watch out for 'gotcha's'? Needed precautions to avoid ingesting water or reversion?

Thanks for the help!

I know my boat came from the factory with, I believe is Corsa Captains call. You do not want to run it on under power, and in fact mine will automatically shut off over 2500 rpms, with 500 hp's. Hope this helps.
