I'm in NJ and have the same boat. Looking to tow it with a F350 SRW CCSB diesel. The only thing that is unclear to me is the requirement, or non requirement of a CDL for a trailer over 10klbs.

This is my personal boat, and the whole combination will be under 26klbs. I hear that ANY trailer over 10k with the only exception being RV's needs a CDL. Others say as long as the combined weight is under 26klbs you do not. Then someone says the personal use clause , rv clause , ect. Anyone know the Laws? Before you say get a CDL anyway, I planned to. However I have a mostly blind right eye which will not let me pass the CDL physical. Never mind that I ski in the woods, race dirt bikes, been driving non CDL trucks and trailers for 15 years with the only accident when someone hit me. But I'm digressing a bit.. Anyway, who knows the real legal laws?

It was a steel Eagle trailer I believe with electric over hydraulic brakes.
