it was a paint thing for him mostly

the bottom paint can be dealt with though not emergently as it will be in the water for a year or two as the lift at his cottage for the 292 isn't big enough.

25K less money than some, 1000++ hour power, the mint vinyl, lack of anomalies like stress cracks and blisters made him happy as well

now with 4 boats I told him he needs a fourth Vette to keep the stable balanced...

Mike, I've heard some of the stories but certainly not all. If by any chance you think having the painted trailer would help the sale of your 353 let me know.

Happy Holidays, and all that chit.

Just to catch up here,

Bad Monkey is the new Formula Bling Master,

5P is a still a two boat owner, however the MAN with THE trailer,

Rip's TIRE GUY has a new ride, some very tired low tech putters and bottom paint, but other than that it's a gem,

Axa is in the market for a cruiser.

P.S. Yes 5P you could have one of those first edition prints for your lovely home. I just happen to be holding the rights to the first run Oldie pic you saw on face book. Even with two boats I do believe you can afford it! Call me!!!

PSS. Oh! and trying to stay anomalies free.

I may be in the market for a 353 trailer. I don't know of any alum ones but might be looking to purchase. Do you know how new the tires are? Any other maintenance done recently? Maybe PM me with the price point you are at.

Thanks,
Dave

Just to clarify....I haven't lost the title of "Bling Master" yet, wait and see what's in store.

Been looking to get into a cruiser for a while, badmonkey just happened to expedite the process. Should be closing on it this week. Stay tuned, I'll see if I can keep the title!

Rip, I think he misread your earlier post and thinks it HAS over 1000 hours on it....

Took it as written, now would assume the translation was to be that whatever the power is that it will go for 1000++ hours.

Far as the comment on the blue motors, mine are just fine, Thank You.
