With the change of the "grid" some cabins had more room as a result but since the 419 didn't get the "grid" then I am guessing the height stayed the same throughout production. At 5'5" that is listed in the 99 brochure I might assume the 92 model was the same.
There are two steps into the cabin whereas the 382 just has one so that would feel like going below deck in a cruiser almost.

Don't know if this helps, we have a 1994 382. It measures out to be 5'6". My wife is 5'81/2 she can almost stand upright.

Thanks for that post. The brochures on these older birds don't list this info but measurements from owners like this does help. I would think the 382 and 419 are at least the same or the 419 would be taller so I feel safer to assume this 92 model 419 is not less than your 94 382.
