Calbrecht, If possible I would try to find one with boxes. Not saying that a 382 isn't a great boat without them but they really work well with the Fastech hull. They also give you room to switch your tabs to 380s instead of 280s ( you still have to trim just a little off the inside corner of the tab ), but they made a big difference on how my boat runs in ruff water. Again, not saying the 382 isn't a great boat without the boxes and with 280s, you will love your new boat either way.

Sick Stinger, I did see your post. Sorry to see that you are having problems with them. This is really none of my business and I hope it all works out for you, but I'm surprised to hear that you are having a problem. I have been dealing with them for a long time and have never been anything but satisfied with both there sales and service department. I hope the two of you can work this out, good luck.

Smokin Gun, It is a nice 382, not everything they sell is junk. That being said I do feel sorry for Mike and I hope they get that worked out. Not to change the subject but did you understand what I meant with the difference between the Kiekhafer and Mercury Racing trim tabs?
