Macerator thru hull cap off
On my 353 I need to disconnect the macerator y valve (its a fine on our waterway) and the thru hull port where it exits. Anyone ever put a cap on the thru hull fitting to eliminate it? We boat on inland water ways and will never use it. I would just close the ball valve but it is frozen in the open position. That is why I was thinking of capping it off.
Thoughts Thanks

I capped mine off on my 353 when I had it. It is a standard pipe fitting. My ball valve was frozen as well. Good sealant on the the threads and no leaks.
See if Badmonkey has a picture.

Yes, and so did my 1999. If you just have a pump out, then you will only have the waste fitting on the swim platform. If you have the marcerator, then you will have the "Y" valve with the thru hull fitting.
