Default Radio Removal in '02 353 Fastech

Does anyone know how to remove the radio in an 02 353 Fastech? I have attached a picture showing how it is setup. I found 2 screws underneath the white console it is mounted in, but they do not seem loosen it much.

Look for two vertical slots on the sides of the frame of the stereo. They normally come out with a tool like this:

You can probably buy them at Advance Auto or similar; or come up with something on hand to substitute.

I have some kenwood keys, but maybe the ones I'm using are too new for this radio. It also seems like it is in there awful good for only being held in by the cage.

Go in the closet with the fridge. Open the panel with your Southco key and you be able to reach the back of the radio. Be sure the shore power is off so you don't get zapped! The wiring is probably holding up the radio from coming out.

The keys for your deck are under the sink inside the cubby hole from the closet.

That was the trick. I had to go through from behind the circuit breakers. There was nothing special holding it in, other than being pretty darn tight. So much so that the radio keys, which I had were unable to pull it out.

Thanks everyone.
