Anyone have any information on this 382?
I've been talking to the marina and I would like to see if anyone from the area knows the boat or can run over and take a look at for me. Does anyone have any dealings with the marina (Al Grover's high and dry marina) good or bad? Can you recommend a reputable surveyor that I can call from around there. They say the owner had one done in July but I'd like to get me own done. Thank you in advance.

Im no hydrodynamic engineer but It helps stabilizes the drive as it goes through the water at speed, its made into the lower housing and would have to be repaired or replace the the lower housing. You would need to drive the boat the way it is and see how it affects the handling.

Yes, many Formulas of this vintage had clear coat issues, especially if they were kept outside. Once it peels, the paint below will fade quickly. I'd also get some pictures of the headliner, it looks as though it's beginning to sag in the picture of the TV (near the hatch it looks like it's hanging down). Can't tell for sure. The valance panel under the red is also loose and hanging down. I still think the boat is worth looking at, but being a saltwater boat with potential cosmetic issues and no trailer, I don't think it's a steal at that price.
Do you have any idea if the top ends / exhaust have been done?
