311 aluminum swim platform...

So thinking of ripping off the silent thunder..heard putting on a aluminum swim platform on a 311 is an issue? Is it cause the transom angle is greater or what is it?

Stllibeerator if you do decide to remove the silent thunder platform . I am in the market for a boarding ladder if you decide to sell . Thanks
