Been under the weather.
I have the platform off and enlarged the access areas on the transom-facing side, and drilled out the tip holes to accommodate the round flush tips that are replacing the Formula tips. I'm using 4-inch diameter stainless bends as well as straight sections combined with silicone hose to connect everything.
I'm probably a week out from finishing. I'll post pics if I can.

I noticed a positive difference at higher speeds when I removed the ST of the 223. I did have an increase in MPH and at WOT, the boat was up out of the water alot more with the Bravo 1 24P. My porpoising went away without it.

After a whole bunch of going back and forth on this whole deal, I've decided that I'm leaving the S/T off for good. The biggest needs for leaving it off are being able to get to my exhaust easily, and the reduction in weight over the prop. So off it will stay. Over the winter, I'll look at having a new platform made (similar to Distant Thunder's Baja-style platform).
If anyone is interested in the parts for converting the platform to full thru-platform, or if interested in the whole platform with all the parts, let me know. The original tips, flappers, and hardware are spoken for.
