496 Exhaust Manifolds on 502 in a 353?
My GLM aluminum manifolds likely will not be going back after my rebuild of a gen vi 502.
I have 496 take-offs that will bolt right on, but not sure if they fit right in a 353? Heard something about an angle issue?
Anyone know what I need to be concerned about on the 353?
The boat is not currently available, but need to plan on what to do with the exhaust.
Thx

I had an issue with my 302 and the offset. If they don't line up you should be able to make a metal offset pipe easily enough as long as you don't have silent choice still in.

No Silent Choice on my 353. Trying to figure out how to mount the ECU and shift mechanism, as they used to mount to the old manifolds.
Tried Ray at Raylar, but Ray no longer works there. He had a solution.

I believe Larry runs it now. He should have just as much information.

Spoke to Larry, he had no knowledge or interest in the issue. When I asked about if they made something to make the exhaust work, he told me I was on the right path and to keep going... bye
To resolve the mounting issue I M
Made my own mounts out of aluminum angle and plates.
Looks great, but fear the unknown with the hatch lift position and if the angle of the tips is right or not.
