Whipple on the way
I finally decided to bite the bullet and Whipplecharge my 271 Fastech. Arizona Speed & Marine is going to do the install. I considered doing it myself but for peace of mind I thought I should leave it up to the pros. They will do the full setup including lake test and select the correct pitch prop.
Right now I run very low 60's at 4900 rpm with my 502 Mag at 2000 ft elevation and 105+ deg temps. I'll post final results after the install is complete. YEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAA!!!!

Seventy five was my guess too. It will seem like a new boat. I'll stick with the stock Bravo drive until I can afford an XR......or until I blow it up....whichever comes first. Need to learn patience coming up on plane and I should be OK.
Can't wait. These next few weeks are gonna' come slow......
Here in Arizona it's almost boating season already!
